State of Bambix on January 2,

Wish you all a very happy new year. Stay true and Punk on! We are anxious for 2012. On February 24 our new album The Storytailor will come out. We will be on stages all over from the famous Hafengeburtstag in Hamburg till the big punkparty at Force Attack and ofcourse our releaseparties. Check new dates out at the gig section.

State of Bambix on November 15.

Recording for THE STORYTAILOR is finished. Producer Nico van Montfort (Heidevolk, Antillectual, Earth Crisis) is now working on the mix. The album will contain 12 songs and will be released on Rookie Records (Spermbirds, Pascow) It will be available on red vinyl with download code and on cd. The cover and back has paintings by Larkin. Layout by DK Rockstar. Will definitely be the best and most beautiful record of Bambix ever.

Out on February 24, 2012.

We will celebrate the release of The Storytailor with 3 release-parties in Köln (02.03.12), Nijmegen (03.03.12) and Berlin (24.03.12).

State of Bambix on October 11.

we are sorry to say that we have to cancel 4 upcoming shows due to a severe arm-injury by our ADHD-kid Caddy. He is not allowed to play any drums for 4 weeks and the doctor covered Caddy's arm in plaster just to make sure he won't. That means that we can't play the Kiel (14 oct) Kassel (15 oct) Eberswalde (21 oct) and Berlin (22 oct) shows. It's a big bummer and we're sorry to let down everybody involved. Luckily the gigs in Kassel and Eberswalde have already been postponed to January (see gigs-section) We wish Shearer a very good party in Berlin anyway. Sorry guys! Here's Caddy w/ plastered right one.

Out now! Split Bambix and Johnnie Rook (berlin) 3 previously unreleased songs per band plus a combi-hand-in-hand-voice-in-voice song. Bambix plays Marching Girls, Coffee and I wanna be who I am. Great warm-up for the upcoming new Bambix release out in feb 2012. Order the split now at the shop, 5 euros (plus 3 postage)       

 Bambix has released a split together with their Berlin buddies JOHNNIE ROOK! three songs each and a very special bonus track. The mcd is available on vinyl ofcourse and is called 3.15 am. why? cuz that's the exact time Columbus claimed to have set foot on american soil (damn blasted liar!), and 03.15 am was also the exact time Neil Armstrong set foot on the moon (hard to check) but 03.15 was also the time that a certain Micha Jentzen first ran into Wick Bambix at a gig in Zittau, and they have been best buddies eversince.

His band Johnnie Rook have been one of our absolute favorites (next to Nitrominds, Eterna Innocencia ofcourse!) and we are really honoured to feature on a split with them.

THREE new songs of Bambix will be highlighted: Marching girls, Coffee, and I Wanna Be Who I Am. As well as a combi-song called One Way Rover.

 To celebrate this release and the existence of beer in general we will join forces and play some shows together in Wermelskirchen, Kassel, Berlin, Eberswalde (see gig-list)

yes we indeed did 3 great accoustic shows. This one was at Wild At Heart, a once in a lifetime experience which worked out great.
